We've never had a midfielder as good as Him.

Wilshere no

There again they're all very different players, might just be that AW figures for the style of play he wants that the players we have a currently better suited and good enough

A one man midfield.

Seeing him in the Chelsea lineup is going to be the equivalent of seeing your hot as **** ex girlfriend rimming your arch nemesis while jerking him off.

in your lousy rags I would be stricken with such eternal shame about my breath, my voice, my arms and legs -- in short, about my whole body -- that I would immediately rid nature of my own embarrassing self. :****er:

Just kidding of course

Ridiculous we are still having this discussion.

Surely the relevant argument is what is the point of having all this talent in midfield when all they have to serve is the lunbering French oaf up front :-)

So do Santi and TR7, but they getting on a bit and are a bit too midgetty and floppy.

where he turns round with the ball and somehow makes the opponents who he has drawn towards him evaporate, before pinging the ball effortlessly to the team mate now in acres of space.

Ozil seems more of a finding-space type of player, to give himself room and time to allow a colleague to make that run.

Jack's only contribution this season :-(

Sanogo for Podolski was excellent too.

Peter

Absolutely right. The fresh legs in extra time really hurt hull.

Ashberto

Not that they are the same sort of player. AR is more physical and runny-up-and-downy, while Cesc is more technical. Ozil needs another season before we can know - see my comments to LA about comparing him to Cesc.

Those are the only two worth comparing him with imo at this point.

The fact that AW has chosen to pass must also make some sort of statement.
He was undoubtedly one of our best midfielders but Vieira had more to his game.

Pat Vegas

Wilshere I am not sure about.

Luis Anaconda

Ozil, while not at his best, nor given the support he needed, still created an awful amount of chances last season but it is not a question of who is "better"

Ashberto

we might as well all stop now.

as a fan, he is one of my favourite ever players. Just can't believe the incredulity/anger over Wenger's quite rational decision to stick with what we have in that area
