Just got a CV from a candidate with a standard first page (name, address, job history, qualifications etc), so far so good. The second page, however, is blank apart from one line of tiny print at the top of the page that reads:

"Me alone …. aaaaand me with a sleeping chicken"

Worrying in so many ways.

Still not as bad arguably as the 66-year-old candidate that applied previously for a job as a trainee and who'd drawn a fetching hairstyle in blue ink to conceal his baldie head on the photo with his application.

Not to mention the ambitious young junior editor that stated she was outstanding in "prof-reading" on her application.

:banghead:

and said, "I should let you know now that I've been elected Grand Master of my Lodge this year, so should I choose to accept the job I'm going to need every Thursday afternoon off."

Amazingly, I managed not to punch him in the face.

seemed perfect for leaning the life of sales and marketing..then he said to answer the question when can you start..2nd June..great..Oh I should say..ok what?...that from Henley Regatta ( starts 1st july) onwards I will have to just do 1/2 days EVERY day if that is ok as I'm a semi professional rower and really looking like I might get somewhere this year..

Look at this. Poor *******s. There's no amount of money that could persuade me to this...

"The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh will visit Northern Ireland in June for a series of public engagements..."

And that you got yourself due to skills, talents and other saleable qualities.
