How can I be a thicko if I've been posting on here sine 2005.? Cesc belongs to us. We need 10 top quality midfielders as well as 3 of everything else. Can't you see that's how the winners win?

Anyways, had we had Cesc this season when Ramsey and Wilshere got injured, we would probably have won the league.

Diaby can't be relied on.
Rosicky, Flamini, and Arteta are getting older.
Chamberlain and Gnabry aren't ready for CM.
Cesc played his best football - in my opinion - in CM, not as a #10


The most important thing, however, is that letting Cesc go to one of our FA-cup rivals would be tantamount to ****ting down one's own mouth.

We have plenty of players who can play on the left: Ox, Cazorla, Özil, Podolski, heck even Walcott, Rosicky and Wilshere. Even then, we could get Vela for barely any money (or Griezmann).

GK won't cost much, Aurier for 8-12 million, and a third choice centre back won't necessarily be an inexorable fee either.

By the way, it seems clear to me that Wenger doesn't much rate Flamini either. After his impressive start he was slowly demoted to the bench and didn't feature much come the back end of the season.
