growing up for kids to do, I've been there and got all the T-shirts. I'm sick of revolutionaries with Ipods and Ipads to be honest.

of being truly communist - and those that did were normally run by crackpots. My opinion on Marx is like yours on Dickens.

When the technology is sufficiently developed and properly organized the forces of production aren't supposed to spend very long working. The goal is to become self-determined and 'de'-alienated; free to pursue you innermost wants and desires.
It's not pernicious individualism where you use others as instruments of your own satisfaction, exploiting them, and never treating them as an ends in themselves but merely as a means for your own immediate self-gratification. Your freedom and self-satisfaction is for the benefit of everyone and everyone else's self-satisfaction and freedom is for your benefit.

Though, I have to be honest, gambling wouldn't fit in very well here. I apologize Mo

automatons doing all the chores and the humans becoming a pampered elite. All in the name of the workers. Guess what? The day the workers stop working they cease to be workers and become rentiers. Work is a curse but work is a necessity and those who promise the promised land if you abolish capitalism are simply liars.
