Where are they going to contain the art students now? You can't have them roaming free, possibly writing 'songs' like Morrissey :-(

This was, allegedly, 'art'.

who weave in an out of the paths of those out for a gentile stroll and somehow channel them towards the vast open concrete expanse afforded by that Tate.
A vortex could be built and on lookers could watch them filter into the bowels of the earth, like one of those old fashioned penny machines

like a run along there..think its all the pointless strollers who maybe should be put in lanes and out the way..organised..a strolling lane, a get to work lane and a sports lane

The skateboarders should be thrown into the river. Alongside the fùcking mime artists and other such deviants.

tbh.

Old football injury has caused my calf muscle to shorten, apparently. Operation on 6 August. Have done 3 or 4 miles each morning this week, plenty of pain but want to be as fit as possible before a 3 month lay off...

the pain / injury..thats bordering on the gnarly I'd imagine, quite the extreme dude underneath eh :-) Good luck with op, I'm flying to Portugal on the 6th for surf and mountain bike but feel free to come out and convalesce in the sun by the villa pool if you need to :hehe:

What is it with you and your irrational skateboard hatred?

Berni

...oh, you mean running machine 'running', don't you? :-(

Also, my 6 mph 3 miler probably wouldn't be of much interest to you.

I'm off to fly to Lydd shortly, where it's blowing a gale and chucking it down with rain. I would usually avoid such conditions, but have just received a text calling me a wimp.

So that's that. Peer pressure wins, obviously.

See you if I live.

Bart Simpson is the right age for a skateboard.

The clattering is bizarrely therapeutic when you're on it though. Almost like waves of the sea

Went down the skatepark with my daughter to "show her a few moves".

Ended up at the chemists looking for plasters and Liquid Skin.

Sir Charlie of Nicholas

Dungeness. By the power station. Where rtp has his used car emporium.

He needs a lift home, you see. :-(

Berni

And so you'll be bringing him back, dropping him off and then in no sense involving yourself in shenanigans of excess, no?

Then just possibly a couple more.

Save them and link em.

Lovely accent though. (No wonder y'all would have lost the war without us. We all talk like John Wayne - who incidentally, dodged the draft in WWII and hid, go figure. I mean who dodged the war in WWII ffs? My Da cheated to get in!)
