I'd rather go for a dinner with some mates and then go home.

it's quite an important day in your life. perhaps the most important and you want to arrive all f**ked up  Or you might miss the wedding because your mates thought it was funny to stick you on the train to scotland.
I wouldn't do that for a job interview.

The whole stag do thing is undignified in anyone over 25.
It's pretty undignified in anyone under 25, too, if we're honest.

But if you tell him what you want, you'll be OK. Unless your mates are c**ts. In which case, why are they your mates?!

wearing gimmicks. They are usually in their 50's with stupidly tight jeans on high heels and fake hair extensions.
They all look like a mess.

The night before is a sensible and friendly 6 or so pints with 1-2 close friends, family maybe.

The whole 'look at us we are on a stag/hen' with hilarious props and co-ordinated upper body wear, people who indulge in this should be shot dead, f**k the impending nuptials.
You can just head away with a select bunch of mates and have a great time.

are also staying there so it's a good place to meet up and have a few drinks.
I hope all these people coming to see us will want to spend time with us all the time. Got a bunch from Canada coming and some from Italy so everyone is only here for 5 or 6 days.

When are you getting done?
I found the day itself to be a bit of pain in the hole, next day was excellent though. A very relaxed absolute skinful of booze and a curry.

Last bus home.
gentleman's weekend in the Scottish Highlands.
We drank Scotch, smoked cigars and went hiking and shooting.
I rather enjoyed myself, tbh.

And anyone under 50 smoking a cigar looks ludicrous.

such events make me cringe and give off them impression that it was dull as f**k.

up a decent choon I would find it **** because it's him.
I think his friends are having a laugh with him. They know he is devoid of any critical faculty so they pass him utterly ****e music to listen to and have a giggle when says how great it is.

In fairness, you should perhaps upbraid him similarly, he's done a much better job of it than me.
