I have improved! Carlos Vela talks Arsenal return

REAL SOCIEDAD'S Carlos Vela vows to improve from his first stint at Arsenal should he return this summer.

The Mexico striker has impressed in La Liga since his £3.5m switch in 2012, scoring 30 goals in all competitions.

The 25-year-old has since been linked with a move back to the Gunners, who are keen to activate their buy-back clause - believed to be in the region of £3m.

Arsene Wenger appears to have ended his chase for Bayern Munich hitman Mario Mandzukic in favour of the Mexican.

And Vela, who failed to find his feet during his first spell at the Emirates, insists he will not repeat his errors a second time round.

"If I have to return, I will do things in a different way," he said.

"What happened in the past will not be repeated."

However, the Mexican hopes to negotiate a deal that will benefit all parties.

"We will try and reach an agreement in which we all win - Real, Arsenal and me. We must see what can be done," he added.

"We will decide what will be my future, it is all about finding the best way to be happy."

for him so from that point of view it wouldn't be fair on him.

Anyway, with Cesc coming back Özil will have to play on the left, and he won't start ahead of Walcott.

It's as if he didn't even exist.

But yeah, no reason not to. If it doesn't work, move him along next year. (Provided we don't have to pay him Bendtneresque wages so we're unable to move him on.)

If he was taking Giroud's place leading the line by himself i don't think that will ever work tbh.

I personally love him on the right of a front three, but there's no harm in him learning another position.

The game in which he got injured he was excellent there - albeit against a ****e Spurs.

We'd all love to see Carlos' chips again, let's be honest.

Anyway, no player "learns" to be a striker. I agree with you there.
