He's being quoted as having commented on the FA Cup win: "In the last nine years, Arsenal won an FA Cup. That is nice for them."

Having accused Wenger in the past of being obsessed by Chelsea, it now looks as if José can't stop commenting on Arsenal...

seem to think from what they've seen, that things wont be so great this time round.

I'd imagine it would have been delivered with the same degree of sarcasm as his comments about Mike Dean that got him fined.

Anyway, he's a bellend

he's a complete c**t

I've said a few times the Ambramovich only took him back so as to fire him in an even more embarrassing manor than last time. Their football style has become even more dull, he seems to be falling out with everyone and he finally has too balance the books (to an extent)

"Arsenal, who have only won a single trophy in the last nine years". And after that it will be "one trophy in the last ten" unless we win something to make it "just two trophies in a decade". And so on.

It's almost quaint how some people naively believed that this would end the taunts and the Wenger-bashing.

Cole is leaving.
Lampard isn't what he was.
Terry the same.

It was only when he retired from football himself that he started going regularly, which has probably coincided with constant success.

Say what you like about Arsenal fans (and I believe all clubs have tossers following them), they've turned out to fill the ground through all the difficult years.

Or Newcastle? Or Villa?

Even the woman who sits opposite me who despises football knew when Arsenal had last won a trophy.

But hey, if we mention this we get berated for being paranoid. The pundosphere and the wider media are utterly even-handed and in no way single out Arsenal for special treatment.

Seriously though, that is exactly the kind of publicity and attention the club needs now. Our way towards FFP compliance doesn't pay for itself and mere actual football fans can't afford it.
