Just FYI. This is because the Vatican adopted the civil law of Italy as it then was when settling up with Mussolini. While Italy subsequently raised the age of consent, this was never doen in the Vatican. Arguably, it shouldn't need to be given an ostensibly celibate setup but still, just a point to note when you start your assault...
