View Full Version : I'll admit it. I am rather excited about this cup final stuff.

I know the FA cup has been rubbished by some on here in recent years.

But whilst everybody has finished for the season we've got a Nice cup final to play. Hopefully we will win. It's what this team needs imo.

I feel like I used to feel about football.

Success breeds success....just sort game and win that will make this lot believe they are champions and come out and prove next year.

It's also nice we've beaten some decent sides to make the final....that 2-1 vs Liverpool proved that even at worse point in e season we have the quality.

Very easy to suggest this.

I have watched one full game of ours this season (and that was only because it was a corporate hospitality job). I feel it would be a bit bandwagon-jumpy of me to start now.

I am comfortable with not watching the final since I have barely watched any other games this season. Were circumstances different, I would probaby watch the game, but since I can't watch it, I don't really feel bad about not doing so.

Also, I'm talking about not watching a football match because I'd feel slightly silly getting all excited about it at this point, whereas you're talking about torturing animals as a matter of 'principle'.

Other than those minor points, though, the two things are admirably comparable

It's only a football match at the end of the day.
