How depressingly few

How long before England take over and completely f*ck him up again?

Surprised we let Lancs get 250 in dodgy conditions yesterday, before we fold today. I am hearing rumours of a Plunkett recall for the Sri Lanka series :yikes:

but in a five man attack you can use him is short bursts. Funnily enough his ODI economy rate is actually better than Dale Steyn's (by .08 :hide: )

It wasn't long ago he was bowling at 94mph (according to the speedgun anyway)with McGrathesque bounce, looked like he could have been absolutely devastating, now instead we have Plunkett.
Yeah Lancashire's batting isn't great, heavily reliant on Prince now Katich isn't around, not sold on Buttler as a four day cricketer tbh.

Don't think Jimmy was too impressed with the one he dropped on Friday :scowl:

One can only imagine the reaction if he does that off Broad.
I'm always quite excited to see new players I haven't seen that much of, that excitement was quashed after one ball when I realised Gurney was slower than Rich.

sort of levels. He has to be worth a try, surely. Can't be any worse than Dernbach.

I remember watching him play in a twenty over game, think it was his debut, the commentators said he was very quick but "a bit rough around the edges" he then proceeded to fling it all over the shop, wides/byes everywhere.
Think it might have been when Lloyd insisted on calling him "Tyrone" for the entire time.

well England batsmen anyway. Thought this was quite a good take on the situation from Scyld Berry
