Am I just bitter and biased or is Luke Shaw not actually that good?

The thing I think that goes for him is that he's a f**king unit, which means a lot in english football but it's hardly something you could say of Ashley Cole who's not only been England's best left back by miles for a decade but also the best left back in the world at points.

At the risk of sounding like Mike Bassett, I prefer a full-back that can defend to one who spends most of his time next to the opposition's penalty area. I also hate him for making me feel sympathy for Ashely Cole.
