In fact in real terms guitars are much, much cheaper now than in the past. Like all electrical goods really. Except Apple products, of course.

UK was always tricky for that stuff. We always paid more for guitars than in the US.

Then again Marshall Amps are cheaper here naturally.

The other things that never really went up in price until recently were video games. I remember Nintendo games being £40. PS3 games were still £40 until recently.
