I'd actually rather have Remy than Draxler simply down to how much losing Walcott's pace cost us and nullified Ozil and Santi.

Too many of our players want to do the same thing.

and I think we become competitive in big games again, our midfield getting steamrollered when our fullbacks are out of position is a more pressing issue than a top class striker imo.

we play the top sides and then he just gets blown away by their pace and power

and he could work as a deep lying playaker (to an extent) but not in this formation with our full backs basically playing as wingers.
Pirlo and Xavi both play with two other central midfielders, he would be ok with both Flamini and Ramsey doing the leg work but then we need to get rid of someone further up.
