not enough time to cover it all? It's a brilliant show, but you get 10 episodes a year and they cover so many different plots/character arcs at one time that it sometimes feels like it's not going anywhere.

Well that's how i feel about it anyway.

The thing is, Petr just basically revealed that he started the whole war last night, it's just it lacked the big woop of a set piece. The battle at the end was alright but you always knew Psycho Paul would get it.

I liked when Jon was reunited with his wolf. Brought a tear to the eye.

of the TV format for which he had previously written. So he wanted an incredibly detailed world, with a huge array of characters and story-lines and basically everything that you can't do on television. And so it was decided to make it into a TV series.

In fact the TV series has done a good job of streamlining things a bit, combining characters and skipping bits, but it'll only get harder as in the later books George ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH! Martin starts bifurcating story-lines uncontrollably as he seemingly gets bored with everything he has and wants to start writing about new things.

He also had a major timing problem at one point where he had to basically shutdown some characters for a whole book to let some others catch up with stuff.

Plus, of course, he will eat himself to death long before he finishes the story, so it'll be down to HBO to do the job for him.

Dyawn, particularly, and the whole nothing at all that happens in slavers bay.
