Surely there should be competitive sanctions, werent they talking about limiting the salaries allowed to be registered in the CL squards?
I'm worried about how Rich is going to take this

I think there is a salary cap for CL squad as well
Bear in mind that this is the punishment for the first failure.
From here they get progressively worse until they are banned from European competition all together.

Season as you imagine the fine has to come out of turnover and not an Arabs pocket. No increase in CL squad wages, so they'd have to shift a load of players before buying.

Uefa have already backed down in allowing negotiations to go past the deadlines. Be interesting to see what they come up with
