Made me sad.

etc....I think he's an average footballer with a decent cross on him. The amount of times he receives the ball and just puts his head down and runs it out of play saddens me.

an opposition player. Upon doing so, Carl will typically fall over, losing possession of the ball whilst the other player remains on his feet.

****e.

merely fanny-dancing alot rather than scoring goals?

I don't like computer games, as a rule, but that one is terrific, imo.

His choice to make and he made it, still a great servant to the club and all but his departure shoulnt be used as yet another stick to beat Arsene with.

He wants to do something different. Fair enough, great player, great servant, goes with my thanks. Let's just hope it's with a medal on 17 May

Tidy, quick, two footed, decent pisser, great tickler.

I think he's been unfairly judged and seems to have stepped up a couple of levels after getting a proper run.

I hope it's not Callum Chambers though, he's looked a bit average when I've seen him

His crossing and passing is far better than Sagna.

The problem with right back for us is that the player is expected to play further up the pitch....sometimes Sagna is pressed so far forward you'd think he's one of the midfielders or another striker.

Arsene likes them on full Roberto Carlos mode and whoever plays in the position is done no favours from defensive viewpoint.

I've said a few times that if that's how Arsene wants it then why not lay Ox in that position as he has the speed to get back into position.

I think that's what saves as at left back....we've had some speedy left backs since Winterburn. Monreal is a acquired taste but the team adjusts around him and they get something different with his wider range and more acute passing. he's classy enough to fill the Edu role in midfield or just plus take over from Arteta.

A mysterious injury will keep him out for the rest of the season, and most importantly for the FA Cup, unless he signs the new contract of course.

He has decent physical attributes but similar to Squillaci used to he appears slightly panic stricken when the ball comes towards him.
