win the FA cup. Disappointing the way it all panned out given we have been top for the longest this season, but an improvement.

Now let's hope we sign that world class striker we need :cloud9:

79 points and only 4th :yikes:

but everyone must take comfort from the fact that we are 7 points off top spot having missed Ozil, Rambo, Ox, Theo, JW for most of the season

both feel he has been a failure especially with the £42m in mind

but they are ignoring the time he needs to settle here. e.g. in Spain, when Real Madrid were 2-0 up, the other team knew they were beaten and gave up. Here, they believe they can get something right until the last minute. Little things like that need to be learnt

more or less gave up at 0-0

striker saga was close to ridiculous IMHO...

First of all, we need a big strong defensive midfield player to protect the defence especially from counter attacks

Wenger also has to change his tactics when we play away from home, especially against the top teams, no need to attack from the first minute; be cautious in the first 30 minutes, frustrate the opponents and then gradually become more offensive.

But parking the bus and playing 19th century for 90 minutes isn't what I want to see

getting wins. You still have another 33/34 games to play pretty stuff.

JM was pathetic for slagging off West Ham for playing C19 football, and LFC fans are the same for criticising him for frustrating them all game and defending well

This extract was from JM's biography. Whilst you wouldn't want to see boring performances every game, isn't it smart to do something like this when we face CFC, Man Utd, Bayern etc?

used the same tactics and saying people shouldn't moan about it.

Also good of him to blame anyone but Gerrard for the first goal :hehe:

No, not really, you have to factor in he had no preseason, no winter break (like Spain and Germany)and has had to adapt to a new league/environment.
Also he has suffered severly from Walcott's injury (and to a slightly lesser extent Ramsey's) he needs runners.
The fact that he, Cazorla and Arteta have looked ordinary since January can be largely attributed to us not bringing in a reasonably quick forward when Walcott got injured.
Teams can just squeeze up and press us high up the pitch without any fear, meaning Ozil, Cazorla, Arteta have no space, against the ones that defend deep (West Ham, Newcastle) we look fine.
