View Full Version : The official Layman's guide as to why Berni is Modd

Firstly, I am saddened by this. I really wanted Modd to be real, I wanted there to be an Arsenal fan out there like this. I even sat on the train to Wembley a couple of weeks ago and looked at Arsenal fans around me and tried to imagine of them might have been Modd, especially with some of the nonsense they talked.

The easy way to show yourself that Berni is Modd is by simply checking through post history. They both normally post with amazing regularity, Berni more so Monday to Friday and Modd more so on Weekends and evenings. But still, he happily posts as both most of the time.

- When Modd came out of his recent exile, Berni was the first person to welcome him back.
- Take a look at Friday 14th March, Monday 17th March, 27th Feb and 22nd Jan. Neither really posted, maybe the odd post but not like their normal daily contributions. Too much of a coincidence for them both to be busy at work or even off work for the day on each of those occasions. Are their diaries amazingly similar?
- Take a look at the 7th November last year when Berni had to spend the day in court sorting out stuff for his daughter, amazingly Modd must have been in court that day as well as he couldn't post either.
- Then take a look further back, to the end of 2012 when Berni had his self imposed exile due to his relationship break down at home, he wasn't around for a couple of months. Guess what? Neither was Modd, he had a self imposed exile from the board as well!!
- We have all seen and know that Modd is supported by a mod who has invisible online status. Guess who Berni's best mate is? That's right Sir C.
- Modd has spent time posting on other message boards. Now if you have been here long enough, you may remember Berni and Stoner writing to each other, telling each other they had PM's etc on the most randomist of alternative message boards the internet has to offer. That's right, Berni knows he can use the rest of the internet to further his online experience on Awimb.

There are many more examples of proof but I think that is enough for now. I am concerned for Berni though. He has been through a tough time and he has created such a massive character in Modd that it would just be impossible for him to give up and kill him off overnight. What else is he going to do with the time he currently commits to Modd? So unfortunately I expect this to carry on for quite some time yet. But hopefully now we all know and can react correctly to what is the most elaborate of wind ups, he will soon get bored and slowly let him drift away and fill his life with other things.

Oh and one last thing, Magic Merse. Yes, that's right - Sir C.

Pathetic and infantile are alternatives that spring to mind.

That applies to whoever they actually happen to be

Maybe they could try here to get their alter ego fixes (http://secondlife.com/)

Sir C or Berni, or probably any other AWIMBer for that matter. There's someone in this world actually that annoying and f**king retarded.

Further. We would have had modd regulsrly grappling with moral quandaries and 'growing' as an intellect.

Now i think of it, berni would have been wuite good st this. He should do it

epicentre of his whole life.

His enthusiasm is childlike. When I was a kid I used to have petty arguments with anyone at school who criticised anything about Arsenal, and I woke up every morning thinking we would win every game. As I got older, I got more enjoyment out of picking faults with the team and slagging them off :hehe:

I think he lacks the self awareness to spot when his behaviour starts to annoy others. I just feel sorry for him, but i can see why people can get annoyed by him with his repetitive posts

Oh & for the record if you're reading this Modd, that is not an insult or a slur on your good character. I would never ever use that condition in that manner for very personal reasons.
