He produces teams who grind out the sort of results Arsenal were always renowned for. Full of character and resilience. Backs against the wall. Anfield 89, Copenhagen 94. He would have won those trophies for Arsenal. Did you think we were anti-football then? Thought not!

George Graham wasn't the biggest spending manager in the country at the time. Chelsea have the largest-assembled squad, and still produce this turgid, defensive, dire 'football'. And as mentioned, when it's done against them, it's '19th century football'.

Sad irony is, had they not have lost at home to the bottom side last weekend, title would have been a shoe-in for them.
