a security check at the gate of your flight, just to make sure it is impossible to bring liquids onboard. Like they did in Singapore. They also tend to do this on flights to the US. Or, when you have sealed your tax free bag, and security at Copenhagen Airport tell you they don't accept sealed bags from Moscow. So they took my bottle of expensive, fine Russian vodka.
