equates to the same thing as Sheikh Mansours at City

Having a *** FREE STADIUM *** given to them by the tax player seems to have escaped their notice though.

Sorry, "investment" into it.

We can quibble over the sums involved, of course, but after all, once upon a time, pumping external monies into their club was precisely what rich directors were *for*.

Would Fiszman have been allowed to do that under the new rules?

which he also recouped many times over due to the share price increase

I mean, nobody's arguing against the idea that football is all about money, are they.

Middlesboro, Spurs, Liverpool, Stoke, and in fact almost every premier league club has had more free money than Arsenal put into it. These funds have been finite though. Chelsea and City have been enjoying practically infinite funds, which makes a huge difference.

Keep buying players and changing managers for ever until it works.

whether they have lots of money or not. Even our own budget must seem infinite to Abingdon Town.

This is no reason not to invest.

If they're happy with it then what business is it of anyone else's?

Ashberto

They should start by getting a few more locals along for home games.

How about immigration? Should poor, miserable folk just sit it out and wait for the murderous dictator chap to eventually be hauled off to the firing squad, or should they themselves just bugger off somewhere better right now and ASAP?

There is not a jot of evidence to suggest any impropriety about Arenal's re-election. This sort of thing happened all the time, and did so right up until I was a nipper. Spurs benefited from it in 1908. Other clubs lost out in 1919, but they haven't been complaining about it ever since.

In fact I'm quite sure that it isn't.

theirs. If our club knew how difficult and expensive it was going to be, they probably wouldn't have bothered. Speaking of which, I have a football match to go to to help pay for it.

Cheerio

I'll be watching it on the telly with my sons in their scarves and replica shirts.

Go well
