mumbled "c**ts" in their direction. They had heard me were after my ass. I then realised a fence was unlikely to hold them back for long :-(

That said, the one thing to be said for their propensity for organised silences is that any type of silence from these people is to be welcomed.

Everton ‏@Everton 4m

Everton are now holding their own service at Goodison in memory of the 96. Baines and Jagielka will give readings. #MerseysideUnited

Is it just because it's them or are we against this sort of thing, even if it were about us?

.....the numbers that turned up without tickets. Blaming the police or blaming the government putting the fences up even if it was in response to counter the hooligan element that Liverpool had a major hand in - fans 'murdering' the Italians in Heysel a few years earlier which is somehow conveniently forgotten.

Forest were also at that match but they managed to not kill each other.
There were faults on all sides in that original enquiry, cover-ups, f**k-ups galore. It's the holier than thou attitude from LFC that manages to turn a genuine tragedy, and we all feel for those poor people killed that day, some of them were children FFS into a farce of self-righteous pity and somehow means that it is 'right' for Liverpool to win the league this year.

Innocents RIP
f**k Off LFC

Fair enough; points well made then.
