The bloke I mentioned on here last year who I grassed up to the useless old bill for drink driving has let his house get into such a state that it's now attracting rats. The environmental health came round last week and found he has no locks on the door (possibly removed by a baliff) and I popped my head round the door to discover a house basically full of bin bags and takeaway wrappers. The ivy from the front of his house has covered his front window even grown through the window and into his house.

Anyway, my other half and my daughter were hanging washing out in the garden and a rat got into our house.

This is basically the last straw and I'm now going to go to the pub, drag him out of it and proceed to give him the shoeing of his life.

As I understand it, they keep rats as house pets.

and I told him that i would tell the copper we passed earlier to pull him over and nick him if he did. We had a massive argument about it and he so I didn't do it and that night he smashed his car through someone's garden, narrowly missed the house, ended up upside down. Could easily have killed himself and a kid in the house. Wish I had done

Trust me, it really did pain me to do but in mitigation the police were already called by my other neighbour and all I had to do was grass him up from my doorstep.
