Talked them down from a £600 fine with my mitigating statement that was roundly mocked on Awimb
Unfortunately I then got on the phone to Admiral to inform them of my endorsement and they promptly chucked me off the policy with immediate effect! :-(

That's outrageous. These people want shooting.
Have you tried anywhere else yet?

You know it's nice when you even have Trotskyites drooling.

with immediate effect.
Shopped around but with my conviction I was looking at £1500+ so turned out to be cheaper (£800) to get an "Any named driver" policy which allows anyone with a licence over the age of 30 to drive the car.
Seems a pretty glaring loophole to me, but I'm not gonna complain...

Open trade policy - I don't even need to mention it.
Ain't she just pretty, though?

You'll never build up a NCB this way.
Monty91

so my NCB is irrelevant.

Honestly. Pisstaking aside. Don't get it at all.

I can't see how you get excited about cricket. One man's meat is another man's poisson, and so on.

to me. I can see the fun of driving fast in a car built to do so - I get that bit (I think) and I can appreciate a well-designed object on an aesthetic level, but beyond that I'm lost.

I've been in a DB5 and that was enough, nearly better than an e-type

common consensus about what sounds 'good'.
I've got a meeting at South Ken at 2. I could go by train which would mean leaving my desk at 1, or I could drive which would take much longer and entail all the parking aggravation.
Can you guess which option I'm taking today? :hehe:
