View Full Version : Has an FA Cup semi-final win ever been met with such toxic doom, gloom, anger and despair?

Reading stuff on here and on the intergrumble in general, I keep having to remind myself that we are actually in the FA Cup Final.

None of which are doom, gloom, anger or despair.

Britain's got talent has been delayed because arsenal are busy demonstrating thst they havent.

Is that not a little bit disrespectful? Do they talk about otber clubs like that?

Anyway, your point...it was another pathetic performance that hammers home the belief that we are incapable of achieiving anything. We will probably f**k up the final.

Of course, we have five games to change the mood but we have been waiting for that for three months.

Well, apart from when it looked like we might lose.

Around the ground, before and after the game, everyone seemed in a rather jovial mood. I believe some drink was taken, which may have have played a role. Certainly, the gentleman I saw trying to have sex with a railing during the second half certainly seemed to be under some kind of influence.

Or are you talking about the reaction on social media?

with a couple of cuts and bruises. It is somewhat understandable.

The bit where I said "Reading stuff on here and on the intergrumble in general, I keep having to remind myself that we are actually in the FA Cup Final."

much suddenly offers significantly less.

in 2004, when we got knocked out of the CL and FA Cup in the space of a few days, even though we were still top of the league and strong favourites for the title, there was a similar sense of doom and gloom.
