Now the FA cup final is in the bag, hopefully the players can relax and go for it. Everton's fixtures don't look that tough to me and they have a better goal difference. So no slip ups allowed for the gunners.

Reaching the Cup Final will also give everyone a boost as will players (hopefully) returning from injury.

Most fans would have taken 4th and a Cup Final at the start of the season when everyone was writing us off...

yesterday was Evertons easy one, but we also have a job to do, we need to win our games to be sure of 4th and we haven't been winning a lot lately- no penalty shoot outs in the premiership- it will be a struggle but hopefully we get one or two key players back, Kallstrom looked good again yesterday so he can plug a gap if wenger uses him, but we need more pace going forward…I just want us to finish the best we can & hopefully the right thing is done in the summer…one way or another…….

Arteta's had a bad season, but it's not just his lack of pace, his passing has become so negative - everything goes backwards.

Extra time and penalties was something we really did not want.
Poor Ox was cramping up big time during extra time...

yeah, we'll be able to tell a lot from the Hammers game - if we are somehow able to put in a gutsy performance and win, we should get 4th

the worst thing about it is that qualifying for the no-hoper league is the worst outcome - all the distractions of mid-week European football, but without the money or prestige

Truly awful.

good point and they play a very physical game too - its been said a million times but imagine if apart from yesterday we had gone through in Europe and were still fighting at the top of the premiership, we don't have the depth of talent in the squad to do it, or the medical staff to keep it going, to compete at the top - we must throw (a lot) of money at over the next two-three years, Newcastle & WBA will be for looking results thats for sure.

And will highlight how we have failed big time to really develop the team whilst having all that money from the previous Champions League qualifications etc all sitting in the bank.

Fingers crossed we can still get 4th place.
