want him to leave. Those who think he is will naturally and correctly want him to stay. It really is that simple.

job, and anyone who think he isn't quite simply has unrealistic expectations.

We all know it will be a massive gamble when we appoint a new manager but that might be the catalyst to take us forward again

So far, no other club has managed to do this (though Liverpool may be the first).

And yes, it will indeed be a massive gamble. Many of us question whether it is too big a gamble and whether it makes more sense to stick with the current guy and see what he can do, especially now that it seems we finally have more financial firepower. It's not as if he's never won a thing in his life, is it. This is still the man who created the best Arsenal teams any of us have ever seen.

so we haven't exactly gone forward have we?

of a top 4 team PL changing their manager, and retaining their position the Champions League or winning a league, unless they also spend a massive, astronomical amount on players.

Liverpool *may* manage to do it this season with Brendan Rodgers, but that would prove to be the exception rather than the rule imo.

We could easily be the next Spurs, going through tens of managers hoping we find a good one

would love to achieve our consistency in finishing top four for so many years, and there is no guarantee they will be able to. Let's see what happens when Real come knocking for Suarez, eh?

As Brentwood says, do you not fear us becoming the next Spurs, going through tens of managers hoping we find a good one?

the other side of the coin where a new manager with new ideas might actually make us better.... we all know he has 2-3yrs maximum time left so do we string this out until the last possible date or make a change now if the board think they have identified the correct man

I'm not saying he will for sure, but I don't think we can rule it out without knowing how he feels.
