One game where he kept scoring against Kos.
The rest were all misses.
Though there is a highlight video of him playing for Arsenal and he looks amazing.
Don't trust youtube at all.

but something about him I didn't like.
But I loved him at the same time.

and yes, he was an exceptional player but I always felt a bit meh when things didn't go his way and I felt he went missing for a lot of games..... it is only my opinion and I am still very happy he played for us, just thought he could have been even better for us

It's very strange. I can remember weird details of all sorts of things.
I will hear a song on a radio and say oh that's the song that was playing in the taxi from the airport when we were in LA.
'How do you remember these things!'
more scuffed misses than shots on target, let alone goals.
Some AWIMBers poured scourn upon me for criticising him :-(
I see he has got 5 goals for Palace in nigh on 30 games this season.

You are stating that Bergkamp is not a 10 as people rate him, but merely an 8. The most overrated players are likely to be those rated 6 or 7 who are infact a 2 or 3.
Unless you are weighting the 1-10 scale where the difference between 9 and 10 is a lot bigger than the difference between 2 and 3.
we were discussing this very same point on Sunday
Of all Premier League players ever, the answer is clearly Tim Cahill

and that is my opinion, fine if you don't agree.

And you can't think of one player who was a 4 instead of a 7? Or a 3 instead of a 6?

so guess it's what they see on the pitch and in training. I agree with you though, over-rated

under the expectation, then that is fine.
I mean it is strange that you can't think of anyone, but fine.
Cant believe someone said Bergkamp whos probably in the top 3 in assists in the Premier League history...

who in your opinion were mover over rated than Bergkamp, but in my opinion he wasn't the God like player that he is portrayed... so sorry you disagree with me, I await your players

unfortunately some on here don't grasp that concept
so you see, you cannot be overrating an appropriately overrated top player ..

I mean, seriously, all that Safe Hands™ crap, please...
Yes, he was good and an improvement on John Lukic, but not a huge improvement.
Jimmy Rimmer was better.
