but he was truly abysmal yesterday.

Arteta is soooooo slow

Bright spots in the return of Ramsey and the Ox looked sharp

really gone downhill since christmas time. He was never quick but he always seemed to be good positionally. Now he just appears to be all over the shop and without the pace to recover.

He didn't do himself any favours though. We f**ked up in every department

The Arteta/Barkley/Baines showdown was quite amusing, apparently Mikel was rather upset about the abuse he was getting from the Everton fans and couldn't understand it. It was pointed out that he kissed the badge when he scored the penalty against them

Giroud didn't have the right players around him - where he has been most effective is holding the ball up with his back to goal and playing it back to someone like Ramsay or Walcott running through.

Without Walcott and Chamberlain the team has no pace. What really struck me about today's game was how poorly we used space - because everyone is so slow they occupy space rather than leaving it as potential space to run into and exploit, and this makes it very easy to defend against us and why it always looks like we are being crowded out. Contrast this with what it looks like when teams attack us - there are gaps and exploitable space in abundance.

And needs runners around him or balls inot the box. If he gets neither, yes, he is useless.

So was van persie. There were countless games where he was an isolated passenger because we couldnt get up to him.

The entire performance was pathetic, again. We cant keep blaming individual players and not acknowledge that we have a manager who has done precisely nothing to improve the situstion.

Also....is ross barkley really going to get away with shoving srteta to the ground? I cant find any mention of it in the press. The few reports. Ihave read seem to blame arteta for a spat.

Afterwards.

So yes, he could be charged for that. Was it a clear elbow?

Arteta was getting very wound up, was surprised he let it all get to him

Team spirit appeared the lowest i have seen. Of course, perfectly understandable under the circumstances.
