ANR EXCLUSIVE: Arsene Wenger has signed his new contract. We never thought he wouldn't
By Myles Palmer

Told you he'd stay didn't I?

Nothing is set in stone, of course, until Arsenal make this public.

But it's a done deal and the Arsenal Corporation will simply choose the appropriate moment to announce that King Arsene's reign will continue.

If the season ends in disaster, there's still a tiny chance that he might be de-throned.

But since the FA Cup is a trophy, and 4th is also a trophy, your esteemed leader is likely to grab both of those baubles and hold them high in the air.

Then the club will announce another two years of Arsene FC.

PS.

For obvious reasons, I did not want to publish this scoop on April 1st.

two days after we win fa cup. I think it be his last contract. about three years till 2017. at 68 in may 2017 then he make way for someone younger but he become the director of the club i think and will help choose the new manager.

it be nice 21 years at the club and translation will be handle better then at united

anyway looking forward to arsene red and white army for at least two more seasons.

rather than the paperwork.

Of course, mere contracts can be broken at any time, and by either party

Thatis very much not the same as saying he is staying. In fact, it almost spunds like an attempt to avoid the question.

I wouldnt be at all surprised if he went.

the "commitment" bit to imply He will stay on *in some capacity or other* and not necessarily as manager.

It wouldn't surprise me either.
