*******s all say different things. The buggers have no idea really. Anyhow I picked a few that had funny sounding names. I am sure that will work for my pension.

Though you might need to be on one of the platforms (Transact, Nucleus, BestInvest etc) to get access to them

Don't let 'experts' convince you that active management is the way to go. The premium for active management rarely beats passive and if it does it's normally a short term fluke due to timing or an above average risk strategy.

If you want solid growth get the % variant that reflects your attitude to risk. 40% or 60% won't set the world on fire or get to the top of the performace tables but should flatten out the volatility a bit and ensure you beat inflation

FWIW, that's where I and my boss' clients are investing

and I fancy UK to show steady growth over the next 5 years.

I have just done my 2013/14 allowance mostly on UK but others. I was lining them up for the next one I open next week.

You get 30% relief up to the amount of tax you pay

If you really want to push the tax relief boat out with money you can afford to lose think about Seed EIS (SEIS) but those are NOT for the risk averse

Well so I thought until I started looking at my new investments I have just made and they showed me at 7 out of 7 for risk :hehe:

Also have a regular monthly contribution punt in M&G Recovery. Up 32% in 2 years which is none too shabby imho

He was great and was 5 minutes from my house. Since he left I sort of let it all slide but now I have a bit to invest so I am looking at it myself. My head hurts

But many of them are VERY high net worth so (can afford to) pay for someone to write their name for them :-)

as they appear to be on the up.

It's all like the horses really, what should win and what does. I see Unilever as Red Rum, better chance than most, a stable punt if you'll excuse the pun

They're taking over the world, don't you know.

And an "Intermediate - Term Bond Fund" if you must.
