opportunity of a lifetime....I am still looking tickets. I shall not pay a penny more than face value...In return you can face value my wife.

I will be in the Walkabout in Angel from 11am. If you need my number let me know.

actually being sad you are not going.

Because you know they will smash us.

Nothing wrong with that by the way. I do it all the time.

have turned down such an opportunity 2 years ago.

How times change.

As you say, though - I'm not overly hopeful.

I was away on holidays ticket went to waste :-( Ramsey scored and we won :-(

I regret it

Though I don't really enjoy the corporate stuff that much. There is no atmosphere whilst watching the game at all.

Used to be f**king nuts in there on Friday and Saturday nights.

Too much trouble in there. Plus me throwing up on some bloke didn't help

Ended up in On Anon in Piccadilly. My friend vommed on his back and as a result he stank of vomit for the rest of the time he was out.

How did the chap you boked over react?

sole and extremely traumatic bout of haemorrhoids.

There may have been some substance abuse as well, tbf, but still.

I shall never go to a Walkabout again on principle.

I was stumbling to the pisser. there were 2 doors to get into the toilet made it through door one and that was it puked this chap coming out the toilet.

He saw I was a mess and didn't do anything. Thankfully.
I stumbled back to the table fell asleep on the table and they kicked me out.

I always remember this stuff really clearly. They had some cheap deal for by one get one free on a bacardi breezer type drink. Drank far to much. (disclaimer - I was young at the time)

I drank it on one occasion, many times in fact. Never again such was the hangover.

It's nothing like it used to be.
It seems busy for dining. Where as it was just mental for drinking. Plenty of pubs closed down.

Walkabout was the one that stayed open a bit later. so all evenings seemed to end there. Plus with O'Neill next door people used to hop from one to the other. Then if that wasn't enough you'd go to the elbow rooms to finish the night. Or that Glassworks place but that opened once they built the N1 Centre.

Looks like quite a few Gooners are avoiding going in order to save themselves from seeing Arsenal getting battered...

Me included... :hide:
