She's basically a female Brian Ferry.

is telling the truth, then she'd have sold more records than the Beatles and Elvis combined.

The Islington Twitterati seem especially obsessed.

The concept of our firm giving it large at a Kate Bush performance does not bear thinking about.

What if Chelsea were also in attendance for example. Or the Zulus.

She was clearly an immensely talented, charismatic entertainer. I'm just surprised how 95% of the population are in a state verging on hysteria about her touring.

I wonder how many copies her last album sold?

A varying standard, or to be more accurate a varying degree of personal pleasure to listen to.

I like the one where she runs up the hill, the others I can leave. In fact I think I may like only the drumming at the beginning of that.

My sister used to be mental for her, though. Wanted to be her, basically. The other sister was mental for Gary Numan. My teenage Prince obsession was positively normal in comparison.

I liked the one sung by the foetus breathing in radiation. Proper floor-filler, that.

I think of her as a late 70s phenomenon.

Late 70s, early 80s, certainly.

But I like Mozart, too. And he hasn't done much since 1791.

But I struggle with the idea of going to watch someone read a book.

I listen to him a lot. I'd like to see him do it live. To see his sweat and smell his breath, as it were.

I had no idea things were this bad.
