evenings sat in the garden quaffing good wine, dining al fresco, being out on the water, seeing a great band/DJ perform outside, the smell on suncream, the sound of leather on willow, sitting in a great beer garden beside the river, wearing a t shirt, shorts and flip flops, summer holidays, the amazing tranquility one finds when in a place of beauty as the sun sets, yet still feels so warm on your face.

Yes, I'm ready for summer now.

It's very confusing to be hammered after an evening's drinking, look at your watch and it says 3am.

Although I've naturally got tickets for the Saturday at Lord's against one bunch of brown chaps or other. Can't muster any great enthusiasm for it, though.

Sport has lost its lustre for me of late.

So flys can land all over your food. Usually you have to eat in a weird way as there is no proper table.

And when it's hot I don't fancy stuffing myself full of food.
