our troubles are deeper than wengers weird line ups.
we as a club hammered into our fans/players that we cant compete, we're doing the best we can and we should be happy.

this mentality has sett in well now....not only can we not beat the big teams, we cant beat the sh.te teams to get back into a title race, southampton, stoke, swansea etc in the last 7 weeks,

.....we were beating them when the pressure was off earlier in the season.

funny enough, when the pressure is on for a top 4 finish like in 2009, 2012 and 2013, we hardly dropped a point at the end of the season- its about belief. we believe we belong to the top 4 but not the top 1

which is why we collapsed in 2008,2010,2011 and 2014 - all title races

this was the state of the club when david dein came in 1983, what did he bring? imagination, belief, aspiration.
calling wenger naive and focusing on his line ups/players may be a valid point but is not the entire picture of our current state.

this club now needs a driving figure, be it an owner or a manager with an influence
