manager who time and again, when going into these fixtures, is bereft of many of his first choice selections.
All clubs have injuries but we seem to have an uncanny knack of carrying far more than most. :-(

take 2-3 players on and lost it, they counter attack and Gibbs is about 60 miles up field twice :baghead:
especially against the very best sides
* other than the cuddly Arshavin
Yes, Gibbs. Do we think he is a mong, or does Arsene tell him to run stupidly forward like that?
I'd go with the mong option. At Spurs he had also reverted to squeezing inside to close down a player who was already being picked up by Kos, thus leaving a man in acres of space on the wing.
He got away with it then.

The injuries/squad depth issue is merely one manifestation of this.

therefore that's why it's so important that we don't show it.
Playing Flamini sends something of a message, doesn't it.

not talented enough to play every week.
Seems a nice boy but that doesn't cut it at this level. I think that when we get a better left back we will see an upturn in our fortunes.
