does this revelation startle you at all? Just wondering what is on down the road that we appear to be on.

The one that says it fine to abort your baby if it's not the sex you want. Does that startle you?

Do you see anything troubling about a culture that is constantly eroding the notion of the sanctity of human life?

to decide what a woman can and can't do with her body.

There is a trend in certain cultures to value boys much more than girls. This is a problem and undesirable, but it is solved with education, not legislation.

Then you couldn't give a f**k about the 'sanctity of human life'

under the guiding framework of a constitution. Checks and balances are in play to make sure that 1) laws do not violate the construct of the founding of the country 2)Judges do not make laws and 3) Executives do not exceed their bounds in enforcing these laws.

The will of society should be reflected by the people that have been elected. If it is the will of the people that everyone has the right to vote freely and without coercion laws are passed to reflect that. If it is felt that the minimum wage should be raised then laws are passed for that as well.

If it is determined that incinerating babies for heat is not anything that society cares about then there won't be a law passed banning such activity. Nor if it is fine with folks that babies be aborted because they happen to be the wrong intended sex of the parents. It gets awfully cold sometimes I guess.

If it is determined that you can marry not only who you love but also what you love then laws will be passed to reflect that cultural aspect of current society as well.

I expected better. I guess it's better to ridicule a potential opposing view by assuming the holder of that view is incapable of spelling correctly, then inventing strawmen that can be easily knocked down.

Doesn't make your view on solid ground exactly, does it.
