Martin Lipton in the Daily Star has this direct quote after the Chelsea game:
The German [Per] said: “I don’t know why, but it looks like we don’t fancy early kick offs away."
“It looks like we are going to have to apply to the FA to not play at 12.45 away. That would help us a lot."
If that's true, then it's about the feeblest most ridiculous excuse I've heard from a player and says everything we need to know about the attitude of the squad.
It's beyond pathetic. I didn't see Chelsea moaning about having less recovery time after playing a European game midweek - or whining about the sudden unavailability of Willian and Ramires.
Is Per really so pampered and cosseted that he could believe that kind of crap???
