no room for manouevre if they make an error. And seeing the referee took the world of his lino, it is the lino who called the wrong name and it has fúck all to do with racism, just a failure to recall the correct shirt number immediately after the incident.

Not suggesting that this masks from another disgraceful display by the players. Just that the whole penalty thing was another utterly shambolic piece of refereeing in big game that we seem to often be on the wrong end of. When was the last time that we got the benefit of shambolic refereeing in a big game like the one yesterday?
