photo it has a whole identity.

Because it's nothing new people have been doing this online for years.

I suspect the origin of this fad is from girls putting their photos up on the web. You know the shot taken from a high angle so they look decent.

I also suspect it came about as these people had nobody in their life who could take a real photo of them.

Then after that people starting taking photos in them mirror. So why now is everyone going 'Selfie' mad.

Plus loads of people do this when they are travelling alone and have no body to take a photo of them or are to scared to ask someone else to do it for them.

People have been doing that for ages....no idea why it got so popular all of a sudden.

You'd need arms at least ten feet long to get a moderately attractive image :-(

She came home and showed it to me and it was just a normal photo taken by someone else!

So I punched her in the stomach.

But it's not that that bothers me. It's the collective self-censorship whereby no-one's allowed to say: 'I say chaps! Thon's a bit of a rum cove, what?'

There is nothing whatsoever weird about him or his appearance.

But then I to tend to ignore the world of fame, generally speaking.

Now to me, narrow minded as I am, it is a little weird.

Perhaps it is more normal in London, areas of Shoreditch may positively encourage such deviancy.

“For too long we have lived under the shadow of this patriarchal monstrosity," she said. "Every day, women in this city are forced to glare up at the giant metal ***** in the sky. It may be good for tourism but as long as it stands there, France will never have 'egalité'."

But seeing as my pension plan seems to consist of getting lung cancer and liver disease it seems safe to say that I don't, no.

Back when I was an aspirational musician, the fear of fame was obviously a paradox, but most of us in the band agreed that we wanted the music to be famous, but not ourselves.
