How can anyone respect a club built on that kind of business model.

These aren't big clubs. They're just bank rolled by wealthy beneficiaries. They'd collapse if their beneficiaries walked away. They have no foundation.
Chelsea would be in the lower half of the table within a couple of years of Abramovich leaving, playing infront of 20-25k gates at best.

The super clubs of European football are usually bankrolled by some organisation or another, in Italy you have Berlusconi/Agnelli/Moratti and in Spain the bank for years underpinned the big two.

The financial side of things does not bother me one jot, they choose to spend loads of money, we (comparatively) don’t.

They won it on penalties and I more or less moved on from it next morning. Could be related to the fact that I actually only know one Chelsea supporter and I could easily tell him to f**k off as and when the topic came up.

Could equally be that a lot of Arsenal supporter's anger was the simple fact that in their eyes they had beaten us to it, I don't share the general obsession with winning the CL that many do.
