They have changed the rules.

The winners of the CL will be automatically be in the tournament but a place will not be taken from the league they are from. So there can indeed be 5 teams in the CL from the PL next season.

The Europa cup winners are now also going to be put in to the CL
So if it were an English club they will get the place. in the unlikely event of 2 teams of the same country winning both tournaments then a place would be taken.

These rules are for 2014/2015 season.
