Would you describe Spurs as having comprehensively outplayed Arsenal?

lacking pace. With more luck/shooting accuracy we would have won this 2-0 or 3-0.

With the one exception of Kos's clearance (from a Chesney mistake) they never looked like scoring. Best chances were all ours.

We should also have had a penalty and vertonghen should have walked.

They dominated the ball although we had 1-2 chances after our goal to increase the lead.

Their use of the ball was terrible all the same, push it wide and lump it diagonally in the hope of Adebayor getting on the end, or as it turned out Scezney dropping it. We lose possession and the previous sentence is applied.

Bayern outplayed us over the two legs (which is what I know you are angling for). We had about 30 minutes in total over 180 in the tie, 20 in the first match and about 10 in the second half of the second tie, for about 90 of the same tie they had to the ball and toyed with us. They were patient and intelligent, not panicked (see Tottenham).

To me that is being comprehensively outplayed.

In a way on Sunday we were quite lucky that Spurs were so f**king awful. Their inability to create any real open chances given how poor we played was staggering

Yes, they created little, and we defended well, but for most of the match we could hardly string a couple of passes together when trying to go forward.

A *lot* of effort went into the Bayern game
