I'm not sure the design lends itself to accurately dashing it at someone either.

No mention of fine clarets yet.
nothing short of sublime.
Might have to wait until the autumn, though. More of a white man during the summer.

By far the most efficient saving method, assuming you're your pension is properly sorted.

Neither ISAs nor pensions attract tax on growth or dividends while they are invested so your tax rate has a major bearing on whether it is better to contribute to your ISA or your pension first although today's Budget changes things a lot
If you are a higher/highest rate tax payer and expect to be a basic (or certainly lower) rate tax payer when you draw benefits then the additional tax relief when your money goes 'in' gives pensions an advantage. So lump into them first as general rule. Plus you should remember that pension contributions can bring your adjusted net income down enough to effectively make you a basic rate tax payer on other income. (e.g investment dividends and property rental income)
For a basic rate tax payer I'd recommend the ISA first. This is because you have ready access to the all your 'pot' IF you need it plus you don't have the option of the additional tax relief.
The Budget announcements on pensions mean that they are now much more flexible and I think more attractive to everybody.
