There were plenty of opportunities to at least come out and hold the ball. We constantly wasted possession.

It was a bit like watching us play with ten men.

Defensively, it was very good. BFG won absolutely everything. He really is asontishingly good.

get the balance right between holding onto a lead and pushing for a second, that we now have the defensive confidence to hold on is a fantastic sign.

This acquired trait means that even if we fall short this year, we have a fantastic foundation to challenge in the years to come.
