The Chinese satellite photos purporting to show the wreckage have been dismissed by the Malaysian government as wrong, and by the Chinese government as 'leaked' and therefore not really of aircraft wreckage.

The Indians have started searching the Andaman Sea around the Nicobar Islands - yet no one seems to have politely asked the Vietnamese Air Force for a copy of its primary radar trace for that night.

So much of this is too laughable to be simple incompetence. There is a fugging conspirass.
