View Full Version : Bayern looked full of pep last night didn't they? That high, aggressive pressing game must be

terribly exhausting, yet they manage to look fresh to the very end.

They must just be fitter than everyone else. Yes. Pep has a talent for finding really fit blokes. That's it.

what we do to many teams in England.

We usually end up knackered too whilst on the attack. :sherlock:

Though I question our fitness and injury team.

Something in the water maybe.

For example, compare the North East of England and the area around the Alps in a triangle between Milan, Turin and München, with the rest of Europe. How come they are by far the best footballistically

we were sitting deep trying not to concede, possibly catching them on the counter. Of course as soon as we tried that we gave the ball away because they pressed immediately, for the whole game.

We lacked a bit of guile and cutting edge in the final third, they closed us down far quicker than we did when they had possession.
Walcotts pace could have been beneficial, Giroud opted to change his nikes for a set of cloggs for the night but overall we turned in a decent performance and went out with a creditable draw.
Thankfully, that despicable diving c**ts theatricals didn't result in a goal from that pelanty :-)

also caused a lot of trouble, so sometimes we'd try and draw the line using a stone or something. Sometimes maybe even white dog**** mistaking it for chalk.
