View Full Version : We all struggle on occasion with introspection, being as we are innately biased in favour of our own

judgements, values and belief system.

So it may be of help to some to know that if you have uttered the words “no excuses now” in relation to our favourable cup draw, you are a thick ****.

we are the only decent one amongst them so surely any draw would be seen as good?

You don't half come across as a stuck up tosser sometimes

In the next ten years.

You just know we are going to f**k it up though. Hull will really appreciate winning a cup. Good luck to them.

It is all far, far too easy. Best not to think about it :-)

away from a trophy, when there was every chance we would have Man City as an obstacle, then you have a serious perspective problem.

Pressure? When is there not pressure? Have you noticed people giving Wenger an easy ride for not beating three infinitely richer clubs than us to the title?

And far better the pressure of facing an underdog than the total lack of pressure of the kind we get to 'enjoy' tomorrow.

Maybe I'm just an eeyore, maybe I'd prefer us to be facing city, chelsea and liverpool. Even though all logic suggests we have far less likelihood of winning those games, especially given our record against them this season.

Does it mean that if we didn't win it, Wenger would have to confess to being a **** manager?

Taken these games as a given is highly spasticated.

For not winning a single thing for ages and ages, I mean.

Well, that doesn't seem to apply anymore.

Personally the reason I still make time in my life for football is that it's a space almost entirely devoid of reason, logic and good sense.

Have you tried cricket? It's a bit long, the rules are silly and the kits are **** but I think it might be exactly what you're looking for.
