I have us booked into a reasonable hotel. But what should I be thinking of in the way of activities?

I would like to go into the Lyngen Alps to do some dog sledding. I understand that there is also a glacier up there that I can check out (are the roads still open if it's snowing to ****?)

I will have a hire car so will also hunt the northern lights.

I'd also like to do some walking. Is this safe in the winter. If so, where is best to go?

Any other activities I should be looking to partake in?

I know we have some nogs here so I would like to hear from them, in particular.
